Monthly Prayer Focus

Back to School
Give thanks for the continual presence of God and the openness of our school system to spiritual things, including the Christian Learning Center. Pray that everyone who works in a local school system or college would have peace, strength, encouragement, and joy throughout this school year and have wisdom and insight on how to meet the diverse needs of students. Pray for safety within the schools and for wisdom for school leaders. Pray for good attitudes and cooperation between staff, parents, and students. Pray that students would experience peace and protection in the school setting, have purity of heart, soul, & mind, and fully develop a passion for the things of God. Pray for each student, faculty, and staff who follow Jesus to be an example for Christ to others, to have an eternal perspective, and to reach out with the gospel in generosity.

All of Jesus for All the World
Alliance Ministries

Spain and Portugal

Spain and Portugal are burning due to the extreme heat and dry climate conditions in the western half of the Iberian peninsula. A brush fire burned around the whole western and southern edge of Tres Cantos, burning down a castle, a horse ranch and four houses, killing one man, 28 horses and 150 sheep. Pray for the Lord’s provision of rain and for the protection of those in the affected areas.

 Paraguay

  • We just received three new international worker families to Ciudad del Este. Please pray for their housing, vehicles, cultural adjustments, and continued progress with language acquisition.

  • Our Strategic Field Review is this month and will set the path for the next five years. Pray for direction, focus, and an extra measure of God’s grace as key members of our field work together to forge this document.

  • Pray for continued outreach to the international community in Ciudad del Este and fruit in people coming to Christ.
