Membership

A member is one who regularly attends and participates, meets the qualifications for membership, has received Christian baptism, and has chosen to fully align with First Alliance Church in community under the authority of the Elders.

First Alliance Church Toccoa has two types of membership: Regular Membership and Associate Membership.

Regular Membership
Regular members are those who meet the membership requirements and have membership in this church only. Each regular member is placed in one of the following 3 categories:

• Active members participate regularly

• Inactive members haven’t participated in 6 or more months

• Absent members are away for a valid reason

Associate Membership
Associate members are those who meet the membership requirements, but who wish to maintain membership in another church due to temporary residency in this area. Associate members shall not be able to vote on legal matters pertaining to this church.
