First Alliance Church Toccoa (FACT) is currently searching for an individual to fill the role of Student Pastor.
Purpose: Serve with the Pastoral Ministry Team in providing oversight and vision for the disciple-making of students of the church from Birth to College. Provide pastoral care and ministry oversight to students of the congregation.
This includes, but is not limited to; relationship building, teaching, recruiting, training, and supervising leaders, one-on-one ministry, planning activities and events, outreach, and occasional preaching. Primary responsibilities will be to the youth ministry. Secondary responsibilities will be in oversight to both the children’s ministry and college age ministry.
Our congregation is multigenerational with a solid core of long-term members combined with more recent growth of younger families and millennials. The average worship attendance of about 350 includes 23% aged 18 and under. Approximately 70% of adults are engaged in small groups or various forms of ministry in the church. We have a strong youth program as well as AWANA for the children, and a spacious Family Life Center. There are many missionary families in the church, and the church has a history of outstanding support for the GCF. In accordance with Acts 1:8, we are also endeavoring to reach our Jerusalem and Judea through local discipling communities. We are driven by our vision of becoming a spiritually mature community of believers, fully committed to completing the Great Commission in partnership with others locally and around the world. The Facilities Manager is responsible for the oversight, maintenance, operation, planning and supervising of all church owned buildings, facilities and building systems. Manages contracts and budgets related to buildings and facilities. Involves both leadership and hands-on work. Oversees custodial personnel and building/grounds volunteers on the church campus. This is a 25-27 hour/week part time non-exempt position.
