On Friday, 9 December 2016, the National Office of the Christian & Missionary Alliance has issued a Call to Prayer for all in The Alliance to pray for Aleppo, Syria in light of the fighting and the continued ministry of the Alliance church in Aleppo.
Syrian government forces’ battle to reclaim all of Aleppo from rebel fighters has gained momentum in the past two weeks. The rebel-held eastern portion of the city is experiencing heavy bombing and incredible damage.
The Alliance church in Aleppo continues to minister in the midst of the fighting. Funds for aid and relief from Compassion and Mercy Associates(CAMA) have been delivered.
Today we call upon Alliance people across the United States to pray for the city.
Pray for an end to the terrible fighting.
Pray for the opportunity for those under bombardment to regain opportunity to exit and to have access to food and medical supplies.
Pray for the Alliance church’s ministry to those in dire need and those who seek the Lord amid such stress and suffering.
