Easter Weekend at First Alliance Church

You're invited to be part of remembering and celebrating Jesus' death and resurrection April 13-16. These are days of significant meaning and enduring truth that has reverberated throughout human history, and the events celebrated are foundational in the Christian faith.

Whether you've been following Jesus for a long time, or are still investigating who Jesus is, we hope you will clear your schedule and be part of what's going on.

Maundy Thursday - April 13
Scripture Reading: Exodus 12:1-4 (5-10), 11-14, Psalm 116:1-2, 12-19, 1 Corinthians 11:23-26, John 13: 1-17, 31b-35

Maundy Thursday is a day where Jesus' last meal with His disciples and some of His final words are remembered. From 5-8pm, the sanctuary at First Alliance will be open for prayer. Come alone, with a friend, or as a Discipling Community and spend a few moments in quiet prayer and reflection in preparation and anticipation for remembering Christ’s passion and celebrating His victory over death.

Good Friday - April 14
Scripture Reading: Isaiah 52:13-53:12, Psalm 22, Hebrews 10:16-25, John 18:1-19:42

Come to remember and reflect upon Christ's death for us on Good Friday at the Sunset Service at 7pm outside by the three crosses (weather permitting). There will be music, communion, and more.
