"On Deck" prepares youth to be the next leaders of the church and the world.  Our name, "On Deck" represents what we are trying to do with our youth here at First Alliance.  They are "on deck" to be the next generation of leaders in this world.  We take very seriously the opportunity to prepare young men and women for life after middle and high school.  As such, our focus is not on simply playing games or filling their lives with activity after activity.  Rather, our aim is to help them grow in their faith as they connect to Christ, grow with others, and engage the world and to get them involved in ministry and leadership as they progress in their faith.

What is youth group like?

"On Deck" provides several opportunities for youth to get involved.  We have several small groups (middle school and senior high) meeting on Sunday evenings that are broken down into age and gender groups.  We also meet as a large group on Wednesday (middle school and senior high) at First Alliance. It is a time to hang out, build relationships, be part of worship and prayer, and be challenged about what it means to follow Jesus as a teen in today's world.

On-Deck also seeks to facilitate opportunities for teens to serve one another, with the larger church family, in our community, and beyond through ministry and service projects.
