Connection

Connection is a safe and encouraging community for young women/moms to connect with others and to connect with the Lord. For Fall 2019, we will use Lysa TerKeurst’s book It’s Not Supposed to Be This Way to guide our discussion and prayer as we seek to connect to Christ, grow with others, and engage the world together.

GriefShare

GriefShare is for those who need hope and encouragement after losing a loved one. The fall 13-week group begins Tuesday, 9/3 at 6:30pm in the Library. Launching Point

Looking for a group to get started in? Launching Point is designed to be an entry point into Discipling Communities. 4 times per year, a different topical life-focused study will be done covering 6-8 weeks. At the conclusion of the study, you will have the opportunity to launch into an existing or new Discipling Community with some of the people you’ve met. Come meet other people and discover how Discipling Communities work. For Fall 2019, the study will be You & Me Forever by Francis and Lisa Chan.

Sunday Evening Gathering

Oconee Bible Study

This group is open to people of all ages. The focus is learning more about the Bible and the lessons we may use in our everyday lives. Discover more about God and His plan for us by digging deeply into the biblical books of Genesis and Exodus through teaching, personal study, and group discussion.

Intentional Living

Join with others to share life together in all areas of life. What does it mean to be relevant and intentional in our workplace, families, and spheres of influence as disciples? Come as a couple or individual to grow as a disciple through discussion focused on the current sermon topic and life application. This group is also looking to engage intentionally with Big A Elementary in the current ministry year.

The Grateful Dead

A Discipling Community for adults focused on growing in Christ and growing together through studying God’s Word. We seek to engage one another with a deeper understanding of truth that applies to each other’s home, parenting, and work life as it helps us connect to Christ, grow with others, and engage the world with gratefulness for all Christ has done for us.

Friends

This community is geared for women who may not have friends/family in the area or who need to make a friend. Connect with other women through a time of devotion, prayer, fellowship, food, and building Christ-centered relationship while enjoying board games together. After all, a merry heart does good like a medicine.

Women's Bible Study

A Discipling Community for women the meets weekly and is focused on Bible study through both learning and discussion. In addition, this intergenerational group fosters spiritual growth via relationship, fellowship, supporting one another in prayer, and seeking to engage our local world in practical ways.

Ladies' Sunday Community

A women's community exploring what it means to live as a godly woman being nurtured by God’s Word and relationship with others. You will not only be challenged, but be encouraged to live fully as a daughter of God with full commitment to follow Jesus.

Men's Story Thru the Bible

A community for men where we look at the writings of the Bible with fresh eyes. The Parables of Jesus are more than just nice stories, they are truth to learn about, take away from, and share with others. Gather with men to be challenged by these stories and be encouraged to not only apply them in your own life, but look for ways to engage your community and world with the hope of Jesus. What‘s God’s story, what's our story, and how do they intersect?

Classic Community

This Discipling Community meets on Sunday mornings to study the book of Romans and apply it to daily life in the context of what it means to be a disciple of Jesus no matter what age you are.
